I love that I don’t have to spin a combination drum left and right a bunch of times and still don’t get the lock open. I’m love that I don’t have keys to lose. Just hope I don’t forget the numbers. But can easily be reset if I do. I get compliments all the time about how cool it is.beautiful in the hand. bought 2, different colors. easy as pie to set name code. great for a school locker or pool locker. not muscular. looks like you could open it with a wackof a shoe. will use in pool club locker. a beauty.I leave a new word everyday and others have tried to break the code but cannot!great lock for lockersWhen it arrived the very first thing I noticed was how heavy and well made this lock is. I was worried that it would be just a novelty but it's more than capable to do the job. I despise combination locks and I'm bad about losing keys so this was the perfect option for me. It's easy to set, just open the lock and put a coin in the bottom and turn then lock in your code. Doesn't get much easier. I trust it completely to protect my valuables.Lock does its job. Very sturdy. Being used for gym locker. You need to spin the letters for the combination so this is better for smaller fingers.This is my second lock of the same. Love the first one and decided to get another when found out that the second one's quality is less than the first - the alignment of the letters do NOT click in to the space like the first one does. Therefore, sometimes it is a struggle to lock/unlock this lock because they don't align well.Such a disappointment.No need to use a key perfect for kidsWell at least it wasn't pink as my son would have refused to use it for his school locker. Despite the inability to choose the colour you want, the lock itself seems to be fine, and it is easier to remember words than numbers. I have not tried to force it or try and break the code. Hopefully no one will want to steal my son's Latin books anyway!My son who has Autism has gone through so many combination locks since he started using a locker a few years ago because he has a really hard time remembering the numerical combination. His aid at school normally will keep combinations for the children but if lost, it means we need a new lock.I bought this word combination lock for him and so far it's been excellent. I really like that it can be reset again and again with a new combination if needed. Super cool and my son likes it a lot. We recieved the blue one although there was a risk we would have gotten the pink since you don't get to select the color.This lock is good for things like escape rooms but I wouldn't use it on a locker or shed. The lock is incredibly easy to manipulate open. I can get it open in about 30 seconds without knowing the password simply by applying some tension to the shackle and turning the dials starting with the farthest from the shackle and working up. You can very strongly feel when you hit the correct letter. We used it for a treasure hunt puzzle where it worked great but I certainly won't be putting this on anything I value.So I like to use word locks as they stay in my head better than number ones. My previous one reset itself in a. fit of pique and now refuses to play nice anymore. Picked up this one to replace. It's unsatisfactory. First, it is very clear on the lock where you have to turn it to reset the word. Second, the lock itself - the spinners - seem off centre and cheap. Dissatisfying. Will use because one must, but I don't feel 'secure" about it at all.Edited after use: Despite wobbly feel to rings, the lock is secure and best of all I can read the words without my reading glasses on - fantastic for gym use!
