This was easy to install. I made one small error in the placement of the catch. This is not a lock that will stop anyone from kicking in a door (it is on my basement door) but it works well for daily use of keeping the door locked but allowing entry when needed. Good quality metal. Throw could be a little longer when open. Installed on a door 2”+ thick. Had to hack saw the spline coming through the door rather than use pliers (odd instruction).Got tired of not having access from outside when gate was locked. This solved the problem. Quality looks to be real good. I like that it requires no batteries and that I can set my own code. Directions are adequate but could be better. Had to do some mortising for my application but the parts provided gave me some nice options. Can’t comment on the longevity but expect it to be good based on the design.This was overkill for my application but operates very smoothly.Note that the code does not have an order to it.Took off one start, installed on an 11/16 inch plywood door. I needed to buy an extra shorter screw to get it tight enough, the ones that came with it were not adequate.I never used this brand before, but it was easy to swap out with an existing lock, easy to set the code as well. I’ve installed other keyless locksets, commercial and residential. It was exactly what I was looking for, and so far so good.This is our second one of these locks. They have a variety of uses we have one on a sliding glass door and second on out side yard gate. They are fairly heavy duty and combo I way to set.Using it on our shop (well it was my shop that somehow became my wife's art studio). It is easy to lock and unlock. I like that she can lock herself in if she's out there late at night, but I can still let myself in.This is a very basic device that offers only simple security. The combination does not require a definite sequence and does not allow for repeats or in-place resets. The bolt throw is relatively short and therefore it appears to be easily overpowered. If a higher level of security is needed this is not your device.Ordered lock for preschool door. Works well on narrow store front door. Only issue is that it is not self locking so if someone opens the door, they must lock it behind themselves.
